8 avr. 2024 - The Band of the Grenadier Guards supporting a special ceremony on the Buckingham Palace forecourt to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the signing of the Entente Cordiale, a treaty of friendship and peace between the United Kingdom and France. 7 avr. 2024 BUCKINGHAM PALACE - 1st Day the French Garde Républicaine marched into the Buckingham Palace forecourt to practice the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. They were joined by the band of the Grenadier Guards. The first time a non-Commonwealth Country, in this instance France, has taken part in the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. The occasion is the 120th Anniversary celebrations of the Entente Cordiale. After this practice members of the French Garde Républicaine will take part in the Changing of the Guard Ceremony on 8 April 2024 on the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace. It will be attended by two royal persons. This practice used three persons as 'stand-ins' . Due to a music copyright claim the tune Marche Lorraine was removed from this film.
